Welcome to The Bell Surgery

The Bell Surgery started in Bell Street in 1909. It has been in new purpose-built premises with easy access for our disabled patients since 1992.

We aim to offer the highest standard of General practice care in all services described in this website.

We will continue to expand and develop the range of services and clinics provided by the practice. This website allows us to update and inform both existing and new patients about The Bell Surgery’s details and improvements as soon as they occur. We hope that you find it useful.

The Bell Surgery is fortunate to be situated next door to Townlands Community Hospital with the many facilities it provides, including a Minor Injuries Unit. Consultants from both Reading and Oxford, representing most specialities, hold regular outpatient clinics at the hospital. An Out of Hours centre run by a doctor, specialist nurse and paramedic is also based there.
